Webster Thomas' Baseball and Webster Schroeder's Softball teams enter this baseball and softball season with plans to help younger ball players ages 9-12. Two pre-season clinics stressing the fundamentals of the game will be held during April Spring Break.

The first clinic for softball will be held from 11-1 pm on Tuesday April 20th at Webster Schroeder's varsity softball field (behind the Town Hall on Ridge Rd). We will use the Schroeder High School Gym if there is cold or inclement weather.

The second clinic for baseball will be held from 1-3 pm on Wednesday April 21st at the Webster Thomas High School Gym. The cost for participants is only $10. Proceeds will go to each of the school teams.

Participants should register in advance as space is limited (20 spots for baseball and 45 for softball).Participants may register by clicking on the registration link below. Each participant is asked to wear sneakers, bring a ball glove, and a bat to the clinic.

Webster Thomas Baseball Frosh Coach Joe Gogolski and Webster Schroeder Varsity Softball Coach Meaghan Keil hope to let their players give something back to the community through helping demonstrate fundamental skills at these clinics. If possible, and spring schedules allow, area college coaches from RIT and/or SUNY Geneseo will come and talk about playing college ball, coach hitting, fielding, baserunning, and/or pitching. Speakers from other schools and organizations may also come to speak or help out.

Co-sponsors of these clinics are Church on the Ridge, HTB Press (T-Shirts), and Webster Athletic.

Participants should register online because space may be limited due to the size of the facilities. All registrations fees will be collected on site. Registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis. It may also be possible to register on-site the day of the clinic.
